One type of contract that the business has with its suppliers\, and the other type of contract the businesses has is with its buyers. Businesses must constantly mange with upstream risks with suppliers\, and their downstream risks with their customers and clients. The more complicated the supplier's goods and services are\, the greater the commercial and legal risks associated with those transactions are.\n\n\n\nFrom cross boarder procurement\, to outsourcing transactions\, and from advanced IT agreements like SaaS and cloud services\, to commercial joint ventures   knowing what the leading causes of transaction failure are and knowing how contracts can be effectively used as a business risk avoidance and mitigation strategy\, can save an enterprise a tremendous amount of time\, money and management distraction.\n\n \n\nThis 90-minute presentation will review 12 of the leading commercial transaction risks ( when buying or selling goods and services ) and provide guidance as to how contracts can\, and should\, be used to avoid or mitigate those precise commercial risks.\n\n\n\nThe seminar will be led by Duncan Card\, Partner and Head of the Privacy Practice at Appleby Bermuda.
