Registered entities need to assess whether they engage in any relevant activities as defined by the ESA  banking\, headquarters\, fund management\, distribution & service centre\, leasing\, insurance\, shipping\, financing\, intellectual property\, or holding entity. Registered entities also need to ensure that they are aware of their obligations and comply with the Bermuda economic substance requirements within the specified time frames (from July 1\, 2019 for entities in existence at the end of 2018\, and from the date of formation for entities formed in 2019). \n\nOn April 24\, 2019\, 12:30pm-2:00pm\, join us for a Lunch & Learn session with KPMG's Will McCallum\, Managing Director and Head of Tax and Mike Penrose\, Senior Manager\, Advisory\, who will be discussing the latest developments on the ESA\, what it means\, and what you need to do to be ready.
